Review
The Dolcetto d'Alba Campo del Pero of the Giribaldi company is a very intense ruby red wine with violet reflections. The nose is very vinous with hints of violet where ripe fruits such as black cherry and blackberry are highlighted; broad and structured in the mouth, with a good dense texture, with enveloping softness in reproducing the sweet notes of fruit such as raspberry and blueberry. The very low yields of this particular vineyard and the scrupulous attention in the vinification, give a Dolcetto characterized by concentration and softness of considerable intensity, which lends itself to being consumed better after a few years of aging in the bottle. It can be paired with both important white and red meat dishes and with first courses and appetizers; in general it is a very versatile wine.
