The wine

A single varietal Garnacha originating from the Pago de El Morrón plot (on the Finca Usaldón estate, Villena), a terroir of calcareous soil covered with stones and pebbles and low in organic matter. Aged for 6 months in large earthenware jars and without racking.

A bright pale rose colour, highlights on the nose are its seductive varietal aromas with notes of fresh fruit, damp woodlands and lichens. On the palate, it reveals fine, elegant tannins and has plenty of length. Aromas of wild Morello cherries, strawberries and raspberries, blue and white flowers. Saline and spicy, smooth, light, profound. Ideal for accompanying oriental cuisine, pizzas, cheeses...

NOTE: The Rafa Bernabé wines have been produced with minimum intervention, vinified with hardly any handling and in the most natural way possible, without the addition of sulphur and with yeasts from the actual vineyard, and they have not been clarified or filtered. Such a natural production process can result in the wine showing some cloudiness or sediment, and specifically in some vintages more than others. It is therefore advisable to keep the bottle in an upright position for several hours before serving.
