The wine
El Guía is a young wine but made differently from what is the normal procedure locally, in that only 25% is vinified by carbonic maceration, thus achieving a red with a good weight of fruit on the palate and meaty. Yet, as the winery likes to point out, this is a particularly fresh wine, in an easy-drinking style, honest-to-goodness and really enjoyable - great for leisure and pleasure drinking.
A lighter shade of dark cherry in colour, with bluish tones on the rim, the nose exudes floral notes of violets and acacias, whilst the palate is notably fresh.
