The wine

Valencia’s traditional ‘Las Fallas’ festival, famous for its impressive fireworks and fabulous parades of giant statues, is brought to mind by the label of this bottle, and as ‘La Traca’ means a string of fireworks, by the name of this wine: an explosion of fresh fruit, perfectly orchestrated. First impressions suggest elegance, indicating a well-executed, intense and refined wine, which will certainly stand out in its price range. Bobal wines with this juiciness and fineness are not easy to find in this particular price bracket. Fermented and aged in concrete tanks, except for a third of the wine, which is aged during 10 months in French oak barrels. This is a rounded and pleasant-tasting wine.

Its colour is intense, a dark Picota cherry shade, and bright, while on the nose it exudes sweet, refreshing notes on a spicy background that enhances the power of the fruit, like a sprinkling of salt on food. A similar scene on the palate: intense, balanced, structured, light yet with some presence, polished. A wine for fiestas and parties, any get-together, for drinks and barbecues, easily drinkable and with a fairly moderate alcohol content, which is good news too.
