Ramblis del Arco

A single varietal Forcayat originating from the Pago de la Rambla de Gasqué plot (on the Finca Usaldón estate, Villena), a terroir of calcareous soil covered with stones and pebbles and low in organic matter.

A wine of an intense crimson red colour and with good tears. On the nose it reveals a complex bouquet of succulent ripe fruit, strawberries, redcurrants, on a mineral background of chalky limestone. On the palate it offers a good entry with pleasant vegetal hints, of spices, fennel, peat, red and black fruits. With taut, elegant tannins and a long, distinctive finish. Pairings: red meats, rice dishes, game, cheeses...

NOTE: The Rafa Bernabé wines have been produced with minimum intervention, vinified with hardly any handling and in the most natural way possible, without the addition of sulphur and with yeasts from the actual vineyard, and they have not been clarified or filtered. Such a natural production process can result in the wine showing some cloudiness or sediment, and specifically in some vintages more than others. It is therefore advisable to keep the bottle in an upright position for several hours before serving.
