The wine
Leukade is this bodega’s most personalised wine, and as such is known as their signature wine, made from Tempranillo grapevines with an average age over 65 years old, and originating from various parcels located in the town districts of Briñas and San Vicente de la Sonsierra. The wine contains plenty of dark fruit and is spicy, powerful and concentrated; it is consistently well-balanced and a very well-made wine.
Aged for 17 months in new French oak barrels.
