The wine
Produced from grapevines grown on calcareous-clay soils, at an altitude of 600 metres in Laguardia (La Rioja).
Ares is pure gorgeous ripe fruit, with a lovely passage through the mouth that shows depth. It has well-balanced acidity and polished tannins. This is a Rioja which cannot fail to impress.
Aged in oak barrels.

Bodegas Dios Ares
Bodegas Dios Ares began operations in 2001, with 2004 being the first vintage to come onto the market. Each wine produced by Bodegas Dios Ares is considered to be an exact rendition of the terroir, as the winery has direct control of the 100 hectares of vineyards, all of which are located in the vicinity of Laguardia.
