The Three Queens

Celebrated by many people in European countries, the 6th of January is known as Epiphany in the Christian calendar and commemorates the day the Three Wise Men, or Three Kings of Orient, arrived in Bethlehem to honour the new-born infant Jesus. Just as the three Magi brought gifts on this magical day, here at Vinissimus we have also prepared three wonderful gifts for you to celebrate the Christmas period with. Three excellent wines which we call 'The Three Queens' in homage to the three women behind the magic in each bottle.

Verónica Ortega, Sara Pérez and Victoria Benavides are three prestigious winemakers known and admired for their energy and desire to transmit sensitivity through their wines. All three work their vineyards with the utmost care and respect to offer the clearest possible profile of the grapes and soils. Their work is a prime example of a tendency in the world of wine to search for balance, to create a harmony between fruit and wood, between immediateness and a wine's prospects for laying down.

Although some may label their wines as having a feminine style, in fact they simply represent a blend of subtlety and knowledge, and a philosophy of wine production which seeks something more than just power. Quite, Dido and Viñas Elías Mora are three excellent wines offering an unforgettable experience sure to be loved by all. Three honest and juicy red wines, packed with fruit and displaying a clear expression of their terroir and climate. The three winemakers obviously play a key role in the final result but they work discretely, seeking to accompany the production process rather than to intervene. Thanks to the elegant and precise work of our three winemaking Queens, the resulting wines transport you to their vineyards with just one sip.
