Bearing elegance as a hallmark
There are certain grapes and regions which seem touched by a magic wand of elegance, terroirs and wine producers that appear blessed with special powers, creating wines which have elegance as their hallmark.
A good example is Burgundy's Pinot Noir and, specifically, in Beaune, as shown by the Domaine de Montille Beaune 1er Cru les Sizies. In Spain, the Rioja + long ageing formula creates reds of historic character capable of appealing to the most demanding connoisseurs, and if we add Rioja Alta's expertise to the mix, it turns into a masterly rendition, as each bottle of La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 proves. To conclude, the white queen, the grape beloved by all, the Riesling; fruit, salinity and tension come together in an extraordinary, dry white wine, the Emrich-Schönleber Mineral Riesling Trocken, always a safe bet among lovers of German whites.
