Autumnal wines present six magnificent bottles which pair to perfection the end of summer with the change in colour of leaves on the trees. These are rather more structured wines than the light ones we find so tempting in summertime, but without the power and volume of wines that appeal to us when it gets really cold. You'll find three reds made from varieties not deep in colour but very elegant, two whites rounded by the warmth of oak ageing, and a peerless Pedro Ximénez for lingering at the table as autumn evenings draw in.
