Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker, Jancis Robinson, and Suckling

The 2018 Beauregard is a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, it springs from the glass with lively notes of raspberry pie, ripe blackberries and plum preserves, plus suggestions of pencil shavings, dusty soil and crushed rocks. The palate is medium-bodied, softly textured and delivers open-knit black and red fruit flavors with just enough lift on the mid-palate and finish to give it compelling vivacity.

— Lisa Perrotti-Brown (31/03/2021)Robert Parker Wine Advocate Vintage 2018 - 92 PARKER

Black core and black-cherry rim. Ripe, black fruit, slightly meaty/savoury. Plenty of sweet spice. Sweet, black fruit on the palate, smooth but dense tannins. Deep and savoury on the palate too, smooth and generous. Much, much better than when tasted en primeur.

Aromas of plums, orange peel, cedar and violets with hints of mushroom and light tar. It’s full-bodied with lots of extremely polished tannins that give the wine a very fine, velvety texture and lively, vivid length. Balanced is the word. Try after 2025.
