The wine

To develop his rosé champagnes, Louis Roederer has developed over the years a very unique way in champagne. Called in the house "infusion" it allows both to extract the juicy and ripe side of Pinots Noirs while preserving a very great freshness. Thus some Chardonnay juices are poured in a maceration of Pinots Noirs, to ferment together and integrate perfectly. The dosage is 8 g /

Pink color with pretty gold reflections. Soft and regular effervescence. Beautiful cord.

Intense, fresh and fruity bouquet. Sabayon of fresh and tangy red fruits (wild strawberry, blueberry), slightly sweet, supported by more concentrated and lemony candied notes. When aired, the aromatic complexity emerges with a farandole of spices, hot cinnamon and peppers. A fleshy attack on the palate, the red fruit expresses itself in all its crunchy maturity and its flesh, both creamy and deep. The fruity substance is gradually stretched for a chalky mineral freshness which prolongs the tasting in a sensation of lightness and harmony.

There is that sensation of maturity and freshness that always characterizes Louis Roederer Rosés.

An entrepreneur and art enthusiast, Louis Roederer inherited the family business in 1833 and gave it its current name. In the mid-19th century he extended the area dedicated to vineyards, acquiring new vines chosen with a mixture of instinct and eclecticism in the Grand Crus areas...
