One of the emblematic brand names of the Rioja Alta: a wine that has been continually evolving over the years without losing its highly distinguishable features, displaying an elegant bouquet, intense and with a lengthy time spent in bottle which results in a lingering aftertaste.
The majority of the Tempranillo grapes come from the Viña Ardanza estate, with its 30 year-old vineyards, located in the town of Fuenmayor, with the remaining grapes coming from a selection of their own vineyards that also lie within the sub-zone of the Rioja Alta. However, the Garnacha grapes come from the Rioja Baja sub-zone, from the municipal districts of Ausejo and Tudelilla.
