This is the bodega's top production wine, sourced from a selection of 15-25 year-old vineyards, and aged in French and American oak barrels.
A very deep cherry colour, the wine's nose releases intense aromas of ripe fruits with well-integrated toasty notes. Powerful on the palate, it shows earthy traits, fleshiness and oily tannins, along with vanilla and balsamic touches.
Aged for 12 months in French (50%) and American (50%) oak barrels.
The size of the bottle influences ageing of the wine. The smaller the bottle, the faster it ages.
This is why great wines always come in big bottles.
