The wine
A blend of varieties from this bodega which is a quality benchmark among Alicante wines. It is a serious wine, fresh, smooth and aromatic.
Decanting is recommended due to the possibility of natural sediment occurring over time as the wine has not been filtered or clarified.
In appearance, it is a ruby-red colour and of medium density. The nose displays a pleasant aroma of ripe fruit, with notes of red forest fruits interlaced with balsamic, toasty and smoky hints. Medium-bodied, the wine shows depth, length, freshness and quite hefty tannins.
Aged for 16 months in new French and American oak barrels.
